But that's not all. The uniform is not only thick but also literally waterproof on the inside as well, which means that guys (and some gals!) smell like sweat and avgas on a hot day. The word pungent doesn't even begin to do justice to the nasal torture when sweat does not get soaked up but is left to evaporate slowly from the students' backs. As for the pants, no matter what size you buy, the area around the thighs will be flappy and loose. It may be cooling, but it just looks absolutely disgusting when the wind causes the pants to flap like a pair of wings.
Although the uniform is thick, it is still quite translucent, which whatever girls wear underneath would still be relatively visible. The original skirt is very conservative, sporting a tiny cut and a V-shaped crease on the front. However, most female students send their skirts for illegal modifications anyway, so expect to see shorter-than-normal skirts prancing around school.
